My feelings about skinned applications: I hate them!

Hi.
i love RadioSure and I wanted to take a chance to express my feeling towards skinned applications.
I hate skinned applications. :)

Let me re-phrase. I hate the fact that certain applications that I love have to be skinned.
Sadly, 99% of the skins out there don't appeal to my taste. I hate all that shaded-hued-roundish look that goes nowadays. I find it ugly. I always hated it since the early winamp days. I prefer usability and to use an application which looks consistent with the rest of the OS. I ban skins from the OS itself: I regularly disable Windows native skinning.
A skin takes resources for no reason, and even the smoother of systems sometimes notices. And even if I find one nice, it is distracting and takes usually too excessive pixel room.

Take Winamp: for its flexibility and usability is the best media library software out there, no doubt. I have tried them all. But it does not have a native interface taken from the OS, and this is such a pity. (Winamp still wins since *all* media-library-players, alas, are skinned, and I can't understand why)

So, that said, I love the native interface of RadioSure: very light, unobtrusive, speedy and consistent with the rest of the desktop. This is a big plus for me.

The reason of this post of mine was to urge you guys to please never force a skin on RadioSure: even if one day the best looking skin comes out!! not everyone likes them and use them!

ok, is all
thanks for hearing me
peace
